Our Very First Party

When we were planning our wedding someone said to me, "when you think about it, this is really just the first party you are throwing as husband and wife." That describes exactly what our hearts desired. It was so important to us to have all our family and friends, those who had been a part of our journey and whom we wished to honor in our lives, present and engaged. It was a celebration of a new season in our lives and of the community around us. We planned our dream party. From the gorgeous florals, to the Krispy Kreme donuts, to the fireworks, all involved some friend or family member and I think that's part of what made the atmosphere so festive. Everyone had a part in the celebration.

Meet The Stamms

In this post I'm pleased to showcase some of the portaits and "getting ready" photos from our wedding day!

For us, our wedding was a melding of both of our styles and favorite things. It was one of the most fun and rewarding things we've done. We dreamed, designed, built, and DIYed together with so many of our friends and family. We were honored to have Jake and Bahareh Ritter of Ritter Collective photograph our day. Their vision and passion to tell stories and capture the true atmosphere and emotion of our day captivated our hearts. Working with them, we became friends. I didn't worry about a thing the day of because I knew they'd capture all the details we put our heart and soul into and their excitement for us really marked our day!
